What actually happens with your data when you click a deal

Our full privacy policy covers this in legal-adjacent detail, but it's worth saying plainly in one place what actually happens, in order, when you use the site.

When you sign up for alerts

We store your email address, saved home airport, trip preferences, and subscription status — just enough to send relevant deal alerts and keep your saved preferences working.

When you click a flight deal while signed in

We record the destination, price, and departure date so we can later confirm whether that fare actually got booked. Your browser also remembers your last-selected origin city and sort order locally, via localStorage — that stays on your device, never sent to us, and clearing your browser data clears it.

Who we actually share data with

We do not sell personal data, to any of these or anyone else. Full details, including data retention and how to request deletion, are in our privacy policy — worth reading the real thing rather than taking a blog post's word for it.
